By creating an account on SplitMate you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
SplitMate helps groups record shared expenses and calculate who owes whom. It generates links to third-party payment apps but does not itself process, hold, or transfer any money.
Your responsibilities
- Keep your account credentials secure.
- Provide accurate expense information.
- Settle balances with other members directly; we are not a party to those payments.
No warranty
The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. Calculated balances are provided for convenience and may contain errors; verify amounts before paying.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including incorrect balance calculations or failed payments between members.
